ATDirect in the United Arab Emirates

ATDirect were honoured to be invited to provide training at the UAE Rabdan Military Academy for Assessors, Trainers, IQAs and EQAs, as part of the drive to implement the UAE National Qualifications Framework.  The National Qualifications Authority (NQA) was established by federal decree – issued by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in late 2010.

Key Ministries (Defence, Education and Interior) are continuing to build on their already well-established and highly professional training and assessment processes, by developing and implementing qualifications that will be recognised nationally within the UAE, and beyond.  The qualifications delivered by ATDirect will contribute towards the establishment of recognised training and assessment providers, and Awarding Bodies, within the UAE.

 ATDirect would like to express thanks to the Academy for hosting this training programme, and to the and Ministry of Defence and Landmarc Gulf, for the organisation and coordination of the programme.  The achievement of all the training and qualification targets of the contract were met.  It was a pleasure to meet all the staff and delegates involved – ATDirect looks forward to being involved in the further development of the UAE NQF, should the opportunity present arise.
