Our Team

Since ATDirect started in 2008, Kevin has built up the business, and has delivered training programmes in the UK and Middle East, and consultancy support setting up organisations' assessment Centres and competency schemes.  Kevin had former careers in the Merchant Navy (Deck Officer Cadet through to Chief Officer), followed by a second career in the Royal Air Force as an Air Defence Navigator on Phantom F-4Js and Tornado F3s, before completing the RAF Aerosystems course and a final tour in the RAF managing a key part of the flight test programme on Eurofighter Typhoon.  Leisure passions include sailing, hill walking and photography (ground and aerial/drone).

Steve has had careers in both the Merchant Navy as a Deck Officer, and in the Police, from which he retired in 2018 having achieved the rank of Assistant Chief Constable of Avon & Somerset Police Force.  Steve is an excellent communicator and trainer, and enjoys a very active semi-retirement, hill walking, cycling and sea swimming, DIY, and going to Screwfix.

Sue has extensive experience in marketing in the food and drink sector in the South West of England, and enjoys a good party.

Kate (aka 'Kitty') is an experienced graphic designer and looks after ATDirect's website.  She originally trained in Human Resources in the electricity industry and subsequently ran her own dance events business for 12 years.  Kate loves gardening and home-grown produce, painting and falling asleep to movies.
